Mattie looked at Maddox as she was shaking her head, as she didn't want to go.

Mattie: Maddox , I know that you love your sister and want to do what she wants, but she is a good person, and she's drugging you.

She said as she backed away from him, seeing the needle as she didn't like that.

Mattie: Think about what you're doing, fight it... If you drug me and take me out of here, there will be a lot of very upset children...

She said as she was a foster mom, and didn't want the children harmed... She knew that he was a good person, he had been her neighbor for a real long time and they always were good friends, and she knew this wasn't his fault..

Mattie: Please, just have a seat, and I'll call David, he can come and help you...

she said trying to relax him, so he didn't do anything stupid..

Mattie got the kids out of the room as she locked the door keeping it just him and her as she looked at him, she walked to him a bit, as she was trying to calm him down. 

Mattie: You don't have to drug me.. 

She said as she stood there looking at him.. 

Mattie: You don't even have to take me away from here, to be with me, Maddox. 

She said as she knew all about the Hideout and what the drugs did to women there... She knew that he didn't need to drug her to make her want him... She watched him looking at her..

She took the needle and put it out of the way as she moved to his embrace hugging him a bit, glad that he was still able to fight, she then got him down as she grabbed her phone, calling David letting him know what was going on... 

Mattie: He's on his way.. 

She said as she went checking on the children letting them know everything was alright, and that Maddox was just sick and needing help, so they went up playing as she went back in, and waited with him on David to show up.

Mattie: You'll be alright. 

She said smiling softly as she held his hand.

She didn't think he would, but was glad when David showed up with his bag and went right to looking at Maddox as she told David what was going and what happened.  She was glad when he had something to reverse and get the drugs out of his system right away.

David got Maddox taken care of then talked to Mattie.
"He's going to sleep for awhile and probably won't feel too hot the next few days. He'll be fine though."

She smiled softly as she looked down at him as she covered him up so he could rest.

Mattie: I love you, too. 

She said as she watched him fall asleep, she then went down taking care of the children, feeding them, and then cleaning them up, she came up often to check on him, making sure he was alright as he was sleeping and resting.

He had no clue how long he slept, but when he woke up he had a throbbing headache and was very thirsty. He managed to make it to the bathroom then to the kitchen.

She went to him when she saw him walk in, as she helped him sit down, and then got him the meds David gave her to give him and a glass of ice water. 

Mattie: Remember, you're taking it easy for a few days.  

She said as she smiled warmly.

She smiled as she was glad that he was able to, glad that no one was hurt, and glad that he didn't drug her and take her away, he was able to have enough control, to be able to get help.
